Why iPhones are expensive as compared to Android Phones?

Here I've compared iPHONES with ANDROID Phones. Read the text fully then comment and give your views on it. I'll take you from scratch to advanced level.

Let's Start!!!

Whenever the name of Apple devices comes in our mind, we often thought it must be expensive without thinking why they are expensive. Here are the some main facts-

1. REPUTATION & STATUS-

I think this can be one of the major point due to premium quality of apple products whether it comes to iPhones, iPads, iMAC, etc. People often think carrying iPhones or other Apple products will increase their status in the society. You know "This will be kind of show off...". As iphones are very much premium and this makes lifestyle of the people premium too.

Eg- SAMSUNG makes mid range phones to flagship phones but on the other hand APPLE is only known for flagship phones. Due to this reason anybody can buy SAMSUNG phones but not APPLE iPhones.

2. QUALITY & PERFORMANCE-

Apple is leading in terms of giving quality phones than other brands. They make top leading class iPhones. iPhones give high end performance than any android phones. You have seen many times that some brands give 25 MP, 48 MP and even 108 MP camera in their phones but when you compared those from iphones 12 MP camera, you will find iphones much better every time. You have also seen iphones coming with 3 or 4 GB RAM are really faster as compared to Android phones coming with 6-12 GB RAM. Their BIONIC CHIP-SET is very powerful as compared any other mobile processor that gives high end performance whether in gaming, image processing or normal day to day life. Those brands which are making Android phones mostly focus on increasing numbers, They just play with numbers for marketing.

 

3.RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (R&D)-

This one of the major point I think that could be main reason for that. Apple invests huge amount of capital in R&D. They focus on giving quality not just increasing numbers, megapixel count etc like Android phones. They have setup their laboratories for the development and research of their components. They give too much funding to R&D Centers. Apple makes everything for their iPhones whether it comes to camera, processor, ram, sensors, OS, body and design by itself except display. Apple buys display from SAMSUNG because it is leading brand in terms of display quality.

4. SOFTWARE, OPERATING SYSTEM & APPS - 

Operating system of any device is the very important thing, because all type of device management, app execution and processes scheduling jobs are done by it. If OS of any device is not optimised according to the need of hardware then it doesn't matters how much your processor is fast, how much amount of RAM is installed in your device, your device will definitely be slow down over time and will develop some issues in it. Apple knows this thing that's why they developed iOS which is the best performing Mobile OS till date. iOS is an iphone operating system which is developed by Apple itself. Their OS is highly optimized and very much compatible with their hardware. iOS have not any bloatware apps.This is due to- Any body cannot be a software developer for iOS Applications Development. There are many restrictions and barrier entry in becoming an iOS developer and their developer are authentic. They only makes useful apps not malicious apps. But on the other hand Android phone crashes and lags many times, there are many bugs and loopholes found in android. There are many malware and viruses developing in android day by day. This all due to very free platform. Anybody who don't even know programming and coding can easily makes apps for android by using some tools. Many of them make app for cracking and leaking personal data intentionally.

This is proven fact that- more the number of developer of any OS less it will be secure and have more malware and junks apps.

5. SECURITY AND PRIVACY- 

iPhones are at the top in terms of security that's why celebrities and big personalities uses iPhone. They are far more secure as compared to android phones due to various restrictions and barriers on app development, which I covered in previous point. There are many junk and harmful apps on GOOGLE Play-store which is of no use and made with bad intentions. But on Apple App-store limited amount of apps are only available, which are mostly developed by Apple itself. There are very few Third- party apps on Apple App-store. iPhone are that much secure that if you lost your iphone or it was stolen by somebody then you don't have to care about your personal data, You can take backup and can even erase all data of your iPhone using iCloud service. Their security is most prominent, it cannot be unlocked easily. It cannot be cracked by crackers easily. So this enhances the security in iphones. 

6. DESIGN & DURABILITY-

iPhones are leading on both criteria. Their design give premium feel to the user. They are also very much durable. You have ever seen that Android phones becomes old very soon about in 2-3 years and nowadays we've to change android phone once in a year. But if you are an iPhone user then your are lucky in this case that you don't have to care about durability of your phone, Apple also roll out updates for older iphones. they give longer support to their iphone.

7.  ECOSYSTEM, BRAND VALUE & SERVICE - 

No doubt Apple has much greater brand value than any other brand. It has developed his ecosystem in such a way that their iPhones are too much expensive but people still buying it. People are paying for the Apple LOGO. Apple is giving great service to their customers, There are many Apple Store across the world.
